    Marci's Goes Uptown
          2010-08-29

Marci and I have been raising horses for 25 years.  With 25 foal crops on the ground we have raised and sold over 150 horses through the years.  In those years we have bought two.  The brood mare that gave us ER U Talk Cash and Marci's new show horse ER Uptown Girl.  Now here is the twist.  We raised Uptown Girl and sold her two years ago to Jess and Elyse Thomson.  This is a win win for Marci, the Thomson's and our future breeding program.  For Marci it is a made non pro horse that she has already been in the pen with.  For the Thomson's it gives Jess continued competition at whatever level she is capable of and Jess wants to compete at.  So far in her very limited show career she has amassed over $7500 in her few times in the pen.  For our future breeding program she will eventually replace her mother ER Nevada Show Girl in our brood mare band.  Nevada has produced several champions.

Thanks to Natalie Jackman for my favorite shot of our Junior Stallion ER U Talk Cash who is a very talented four year old Working Cow Horse.  Talie has been attending the regular ARCHA shows and has caught many of our cow horse runs in classic stops, fence turns and shots such as this that I consider a classic art shot.

    TESTIMONIALS

I don't know if it matters to you anymore but I wanted to let you know that I got this mare and her 2007 colt by EF Pepi Kola. I am so thrilled that I did too. What a lovely, lovely mare. And this colt is fantastic. I have only had them home for a couple of days but I am so very impressed with the colts temperament and "pretty". He comes right up for scratches and is bold and brave! I would very seriously like to consider breeding her again to your stallion next year if he still stands to outside mares.
