“ER Spitfire adds
to his earnings!
We are so
proud of Spitfire’s performance at the
Canadian Supreme last weekend. Spitfire was shown by John Swales in
the Canadian Supreme Snaffle Bit
Futurity plus the Open Snaffle Bit Futurity. In a field of some of
the best three year olds in Western Canada
that numbered 32 in the class he came
out of the herd in both divisions with a 147
leading
score. In the reined work he finished
third in the Canadian Supreme division and sixth in the Open
division. On the fence he was 13th
and 18th
respectively with a tough cow to work. John guided him to an
aggregate placing of fifth in the Canadian Supreme and 6th
in the Open. His earnings increased by $3800 and now has
close to $6000 won in two Futurities.

“Sugar Nugget has
Cow!”
Marci and her reining mare
ER Sugar Nugget
have taken up working cow horse. After
working buffalo under the tutelage of John Swales
her and Sugar Nugget found out that they
both loved working cows. Marci
showed in two weekend
shows at ARCHA in the rein and box class
and then entered Rocky Sapergia’s Ride
and Slide show in Okotoks. Her and Sugar Nugget
won Reserve Champion in the
Rein and
Box class.
The Rein and Box class is a new addition
to ARCHA for members that want to do dry work and box
on the short wall
without having to go down the long
wall. We sure appreciate the
support from John and other members of ARCHA who are so helpful and
such great people to show with.

ER Picaboo won the Half Arabian Junior Reining Class

another Pepi Kola daughter, in the 1000 Limit Class. We raise
the horse to own them and show them ourselves beyond the business
side of pr4omoting and selling.
Shelley's art business has flourished. Here she
catches a great reining turn around on a coffee table piece
created for a very special lady who got married this year.
September - Greg Coffin and Cody McArtur ER Genuine
Quality in the ARCHA Snaffle Bit Class. Cody goes on to show him to
a third place finish in the Canadian Supreme Limited Open
Snaffle Bit Futurity. Pictures to follow.
October - John Swales and EF Pepi Kola win the 2005
Canadian Supreme Open Bridle WCH Class with a huge 151 on the cow

huge win for Pepi as he had made the finals for the fifth time and
